Gel Manicure
Usually lasts 2-3 weeks without chipping . 1.Nail Prep – Nails are shaped, filed, and cuticles are cleaned just like in a basic manicure. 2. Buffing + Nail Cleanse – The nail surface is lightly buffed and cleaned with alcohol to remove oils (helps polish stick). 3. Base Coat Application – A thin gel base coat is applied and cured under a UV/LED lamp. 4. Color Gel Polish – 2–3 thin layers of colored gel polish are applied. – Each layer is cured under the lamp (10–60 seconds depending on lamp and brand). 5. Top Coat – A gel top coat is applied for shine and protection and is cured again. 6. Final Cleanse (if needed) – Some top coats leave a sticky layer that is wiped with alcohol to finish.
